Smile Transformation with Crowns – What to Expect?

The creation of dental crowns and bridges is one of the most common and popular procedures in dentistry. If you have a fractured natural tooth, a large cavity, or a missing tooth, it is very likely that you will need a crown or bridge. The main goal of this process is to preserve and protect the damaged tooth from further deterioration. Our dear patient from France completely transformed his smile with bridges and crowns. It all started with an examination, a discussion, and the necessary X-ray imaging. The patient wanted to be able to smile, eat, and speak comfortably again, and finally have the smile he had always wanted. There was some fear of the intervention, but the desire for a new smile and the conversation with Dr. Lazar overcame it, and the transformation procedure began.

THE BEGINNING OF THE TRANSFORMATION

During the first visit, the old, worn-out bridges and crowns were removed, and all teeth were prepared and treated. Definitive impressions were then taken. To the patient’s great surprise, the entire procedure was painless. Temporary crowns were made, and the desired color of the future crowns was selected.

On the second visit, a few days later, a try-in took place, where the patient had the opportunity to see their future crowns and express their personal feelings about the aesthetics, comfort, and biting ability. Once both the doctor and the patient were satisfied, the crowns underwent glazing, giving them their final shape, smoothness, and shine.

On the third visit, the next day, the bridges were permanently cemented, completing the procedure.

For just 7 days, with 3 visits to the dental office, the patient obtained the smile they had always desired and now returns home with a smile, looking forward to the next check-up.

Schedule your appointment and enhance your smile, and your life, because “A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.”
